Reading/ELA:
We are beginning our studies on " Stone Fox" this week! Vocabulary Chapters 7&8 1. Treacherous- dangerous or risky 2. Admire- to look at something with high regard 3. Departing- to go away or to leave 4. Abrupt- sudden or brief 5. Clenched- clutch Vocabulary Chapters 9&10 1. sprang- a sudden leap forward 2. outskirts- parts of cities that are away from the center 3. permitted- allowed something to happen 4. disqualified- stopped someone from being part of something 5. instantly- without delay 6. massive- huge 7. limp- to walk oddly because of an injury 8. indicated- show something 9. glimpse- a quick look 10. magnificent- very beautiful or impressive
Students will complete questions 1-8 and 16-19 of the Chapter 8 review found on pgs. 238-239 of their Science books.
Religion:
Students should watch the Eucharist video and respond to the writing prompt explaining how the Eucharist is like food for our soul. Their responses should be 5-7 complete sentences.
